Personal BackgroundElena Yu grew up in a multi-cultural society and consequently speaks several languages since early childhood. She also has a multi-disciplinary education with advanced degrees in several fields (B.A. Economics, summa cum laude; Ph.D. Sociology; MPH Epidemiology). Having lived in different countries in her academic career as a professor, she brings a unique set of knowledge and skills to the real estate market. Her experience with various cultural groups enables her to earn the trust of diverse clients, to quickly grasp their needs and concerns, and to deliver unparalleled customer service. As a REALTOR® Elena takes care of every client as if he/she was a member of her family, always watching out for their best interest. They love the fact that she is always to there to answer their questions any time they need help. She receives 100% customer satisfaction from Premier Quality Service, an independent company that sends out surveys to her clients. Elena became a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) in 2014. Only 3% of realtors in the U.S. have the CRS designation and only 2,500 realtors worldwide have earned the CIPS. Clients are impressed by her accomplished professionalism.
